Notes on the use and protection of your data
Preliminary remark
In the following we inform you about how we collect and use your personal data in the context of the use of our offers.
1. access data and hosting
You can visit our websites without giving any personal information. Whenever you call up a website, the web server merely automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains e.g. the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the call, transferred data volume and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call.
These access data are evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the trouble-free operation of the site and improving our offer. In accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO, this serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer in the context of a balancing of interests. All access data will be deleted at the latest seven days after the end of your visit to our website.
Hosting services through a third party provider
In the context of processing on our behalf, a third party provider provides us with the services for hosting and displaying the website. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer, which outweigh the interests of the parties involved. All data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose, as described below, are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the scope described here.
This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area. The data processing takes place within the European Union.
2. collection and use of data for contract processing and registration
The essential part of our offers can only be used by you if you register with us. Then you can, for example, post tenders, participate in tenders, observe them or submit evaluations. In doing so, we ask for data that is necessary or recommended for the use (e.g. the execution of the tenders or the user relationship). This includes in particular your name, address and other contact information, such as your mobile phone number. In connection with the collection of data, we point out when information is mandatory. We use the data provided by you in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the purpose of processing the contract.
If you submit an enquiry to United Events and the desired user does not respond, we will forward your enquiry to users with the same or similar portfolio who wish to contact you so that they can make enquiries about your order. We use the data you provide us with in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the execution of the contract.
Furthermore, the data may be used due to legal obligations, such as answering official enquiries in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c DSGVO.
At service providers (contractors) United Events also stores a provider profile as well as payment information for the payment of the usage fees. Finally, information on the type and content of the invitations to tender in which you have participated as a provider is stored. In addition, we request copies of proofs from contractors to prove individual details stored in the member profile, e.g. with regard to trade law or other registrations, licences or qualifications a confirmation of the registration of a trade ("trade licence") or the notification of a freelance activity, the trade card, the master craftsman's certificate or comparable proofs. These documents are stored in electronic form for the duration of the membership or for the duration of legal storage obligations.
After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your membership account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiration of the tax and commercial law retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data for other purposes that are legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration. Your member account can be deleted at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or by using a function provided for this purpose.
3. data transfer
In order to fulfil the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO, we provide data - depending on the payment method you have chosen - to the credit institution or payment service provider commissioned with the payment. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you open an account there. In this case you must log in to the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. In this respect the data protection declaration of the respective payment service provider applies.
We also use a service provider to create invoices and allocate payments. This service provider is located in the Netherlands. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.
If third parties also receive your data, this is done for the following purposes:
To transmit your name and, if applicable, your address data in connection with the initiation and processing of the contractual relationship, for example, to establish contact between the principal and the contractor, (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO)
To provide information to certain authorities within the scope of their statutory duties (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c DSGVO).
In order to verify entered address data or to check the creditworthiness of our users, we also reserve the right to obtain information about the user from third parties. For this purpose, the information collected in the course of registration regarding the name or company, the address and, if applicable, the date of birth will be transmitted to a credit agency or other information service, which will use this data to check the validity of the address or the creditworthiness of the respective user. The credit inquiry agency is obliged to protect data privacy. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.
In the event of non-contractual processing (e.g. termination due to default of payment, legally established claim), we may also transfer personal data to a credit agency or collection service provider if the legal requirements are met. Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO is also the legal basis for this.
4. e-mail newsletters and postal advertising
E-mail advertising with newsletter subscription
If you register for one of our newsletters, we will use the data required for this purpose or data provided separately by you to send you our e-mail newsletter regularly on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO.
It is possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your e-mail address unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
E-mail advertising in connection with our services, your right to object
If we receive your e-mail address in connection with our services and you have not objected to this, we reserve the right to send you regular e-mails about United Events innovations and topics related to the events industry on the basis of § 7 para. 3 UWG. You can object to this at any time free of charge by using the unsubscribe link in the respective advertising e-mail.
Service provider for the sending of e-mails
Our newsletter is sent by a service provider on our behalf, to whom we pass on your e-mail address for this purpose.
This service provider is located in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. On the basis of this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield. We have also concluded an agreement with the service provider to protect your personal data in accordance with the legal requirements.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Postal advertising and your right of objection
Furthermore, we reserve the right to use your company name and postal address for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post. This serves to protect our legitimate interests, which outweigh the interests of our customers, in a promotional approach in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.
The advertising mailings are provided within the scope of processing on our behalf by a service provider to whom we pass on your data for this purpose. You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below.
5. application data
If you apply to work for us as an employee, we collect various types of data, in particular contact information and a description of your education, work experience and skills. In addition, you have the option of providing us with electronically stored documents such as certificates or cover letters.
We do not require any information from you that is not usable according to the General Equal Treatment Act (race, ethnic origin, gender, religion or ideology, disability, age or sexual identity). Nor do we ask you to provide information on illness, pregnancy, ethnic origin, political views, philosophical or religious beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health or sex life. The same applies to content that is likely to infringe the rights of third parties (e.g. copyrights, press law or general rights of third parties).
If we are unable to offer you employment, we will keep the data you provide for up to six months for the purpose of answering questions in connection with your application and rejection. If you submit your application to us via a recruitment agency, we may store your data for even longer if necessary, provided that the recruitment agency can still claim a commission in the event of a subsequent recruitment. The storage period is then a maximum of one year after the end of the recruitment process.
However, if your application documents are generally of interest and no suitable employment is currently available, we would ask you to give your separate consent to retain and store your data accordingly. This will enable us to contact you in case of future job offers.
The processing of your data is carried out for the purpose of establishing and, if applicable, implementing the employment relationship in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO or § 26 Para. 1 BDSG.
6. cookies and web analysis
In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in an optimised presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Cookies are small text files which are automatically stored on your end device. Some of the cookies used by us are deleted again after the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit us (persistent cookies). You can see the duration of storage in the cookie settings of your web browser. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Each browser differs in the way it manages the cookie settings. This is described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before this happens. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the internet.
The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This enables IP addresses to be further processed in a shortened form, thus excluding the possibility of personal references. If the data collected about you contains a personal reference, this is immediately excluded and the personal data is therefore deleted immediately.
We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has subjected itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Google Analytics advertising functions
If you agree to the use of Google Analytics advertising functions, this website uses the advanced functions of Google Analytics in addition to the standard functions. The Google Analytics advertising functions implemented on this website include Google Analytics reports on performance by demographic characteristics and interests.
We use first-party cookies (e.g., Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (e.g., DoubleClick cookies) together to analyze in an anonymous and aggregated form which demographic characteristics and interests visitors to our website typically exhibit. We use this information to improve our web offerings.
You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways:
a) by setting your browser software accordingly;
b) via the Google ad settings on https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/?hl=de deactivate
c) by means of a corresponding cookie setting [link to cookie settings page]. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent.
The legal basis here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a or lit. f DSGVO and Art. 15 para. 3 TMG.
Campaign Manager from Google
We use the online marketing tool Campaign Manager from the Google Marketing Platform. Campaign Manager uses cookies to deliver ads relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to help Google determine which ads are served on which browsers and to help Google prevent them from showing multiple times. Campaign Manager may also use cookie IDs to track conversions related to ad requests. For example, when a user sees a Campaign Manager ad and later visits the advertiser's site on the same browser to make a purchase. According to Google, Campaign Manager cookies do not contain any personal information.
Because of the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of Campaign Manager, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and save your IP address.
In addition, the Campaign Manager (DoubleClick Floodlight) cookies used enable us to understand whether you perform certain actions on our website after you have called up or clicked on one of our display/video ads on Google or on another platform via Campaign Manager (conversion tracking). Campaign Manager uses this cookie to understand the content that you have interacted with on our sites so that we can later send you targeted advertisements.
You can prevent participation in this tracking process in several ways:
a) by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly, in particular by disabling third-party cookies, which will prevent you from receiving third-party ads;
b) by disabling conversion tracking cookies by setting your browser to block cookies from the www.googleadservices.com domain, https://www.google.de/settings/ads, whereby this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies;
c) by deactivating interest-based ads from the providers that are part of the self-regulation campaign "About Ads" via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies;
d) by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin,
e) by means of appropriate cookie settings. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent.
In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookies about your use of the websites and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/142293?hl=de under "Display settings", "Extension for Campaign Manager deactivation".
You can find further information about Campaign Manager at https://www.google.de/doubleclick and about data protection at Google in general at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
The legal basis for its use is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, lit. f DSGVO and Art. 15 para. 3 TMG.
Google Tag Manager
This website uses the Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows marketers to manage website tags through one interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not collect any personal information. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If disabled at the domain or cookie level, it will remain disabled for all tracking tags implemented by Google Tag Manager.
The legal basis for the use of Google Tag Manager is art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, lit. f DSGVO as well as art. 15 para. 3 TMG.
Bing Universal Event Tracking (UET)
On our website, data is collected and stored using Bing Ads technologies, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. This is a service of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. This service allows us to track the activities of users on our website when they come to our website through ads from Bing Ads. If you come to our website through such an ad, a cookie is placed on your computer. A Bing UET tag is included on our website. This is a code that is used in conjunction with the cookie to store some non-personal information about your use of the website. This information includes the time spent on the website, which areas of the website have been accessed and which advertisement was used to access the website. Information about your identity is not recorded.
The information collected is transferred to Microsoft servers in the USA and stored there for a maximum of 180 days. You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the site and the processing of this data by disabling cookies. This may limit the functionality of the website.
In addition, Microsoft may also use cross-device tracking to track your usage patterns across multiple electronic devices and may be able to display personalized advertisements on or in Microsoft Web pages and apps. You can view this behavior at http://choice.microsoft.com/de-de/opt-outdeaktivieren.
. For more information about Bing's analytics services, please visit the Bing Ads website ( https://help.bingads.microsoft.com/#apex/3/de/53056/2 ). For more information about Microsoft and Bing's privacy practices, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement ( https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement ).
The legal basis here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a or lit. f DSGVO as well as § 15 para. 3 TMG.
Spoteffects/Matomo
We also measure the interaction with our website in correlation to broadcast TV spots via our service provider spoteffects, webeffects GmbH, Knorrstr. 69, 80807 Munich ("Spoteffects"). A corresponding contract for commissioned data processing was concluded with Spoteffects. Spoteffects uses results that we generate using the analysis tool "Matomo". Matomo is an open source web analysis tool (https://de.matomo.org/). When using Matomo, data about user behaviour is collected and pseudonymous user profiles are created. Among other things, cookies are used for this purpose. We do not use the data from Matomo to identify you personally and do not merge the profiles with your person or your account. For this evaluation, cookies (for more details, see "Cookies" above) are stored on your computer. We store the information collected in this way exclusively on its server in Germany. You can turn off the evaluation by deleting existing cookies and preventing the storage of cookies. If you prevent the storage of cookies, we point out that you may not be able to use this website to its full extent. The prevention of the storage of cookies is possible through the settings in your browser. We use Matomo with the extension "AnonymizeIP". This means that IP-addresses are processed in a shortened form, a direct personal reference can be excluded. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Matomo is not merged with other data collected by us.
The legal basis here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a or lit. f DSGVO and Art. 15 para. 3 TMG.
We use the so-called "Facebook pixel"" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are resident in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook").
Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).
On the one hand, the Facebook pixel enables Facebook to identify visitors to our online offering as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called "Facebook ads"). Accordingly, we use the Facebook Pixel to display the Facebook Ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offering or who exhibit certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called "custom audiences"). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook Ads correspond to the potential interest of users and do not appear to be annoying. With the help of the Facebook Pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of Facebook Ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users are redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook Ad (so-called "conversion").
The Facebook pixel is directly integrated by Facebook when you call up our websites and can store a so-called cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. If you then log in to Facebook or visit Facebook when logged in, the visit to our online offer will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous to us, so we cannot draw conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and can be used by Facebook as well as for our own market research and advertising purposes. If we should transmit data to Facebook for comparison purposes, this data is encrypted locally on the browser and only then sent to Facebook via a secure https connection. This is done solely for the purpose of comparing the data with the data similarly encrypted by Facebook.
The processing of the data by Facebook is carried out within the framework of Facebook's Data Use Policy. Accordingly, general information on the display of Facebook ads is provided in the Facebook Data Usage Policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. Specific information and details about the Facebook pixel and how it works can be found in the Facebook help section: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616.
. You may object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and use of your data to display Facebook Ads. To control what types of ads are displayed to you within Facebook, you can go to the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions for usage-based advertising settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. The settings are platform-independent, which means they apply to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
. To prevent the collection of your data using the Facebook pixel on our website, please click the following link: Facebook opt-out. When you click the link, an "opt-out" cookie is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will have to click the link again. Furthermore, the opt-out only applies within the browser you are using and only within our web domain where the link was clicked.
You can also opt-out of the use of cookies for audience measurement and advertising purposes by visiting the opt-out page of the Network Advertising Initiative (http://optout.networkadvertising.org/) and additionally the US website (http://www.aboutads.info/choices) or the European website (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/).
The legal basis here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a or lit. f DSGVO as well as § 15 para. 3 TMG.
Aumago
We work together with Aumago GmbH ("Aumago"), Berlin, a target group marketer. Aumago uses so-called cookies, a text file which is stored in the browser of the computer and collects/contains anonymous usage data for the purpose of usage-based online advertising (Online Behavorial Targeting "OBA"), such as the type of website visited, categories and/or product pages visited and/or via which browser and terminal device this was done. No personal data is collected. The usage data can therefore not be associated with the real identity of the user. The cookies are either Aumago cookies or cookies from service providers that Aumago uses. The user can delete the cookies at any time either directly in the browser or manage his cookie preferences at http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/. Based on this anonymous analysis of the user's surfing behavior, Aumago segments this information from the cookies according to industry sectors, e.g. browser "1" receives the cookie "industry A" on website "X" and enables more targeted online advertising based on the assumed interests.
The legal basis for data processing is § 15 para. 3 TMG or Art. 6 para. 1 letter f DSGVO.
Use of Adform
On our website we use the tool Adform from Adform A/S Wildersgade 10B, sal. 1 DK-1408 Copenhagen, Denmark, which collects data for analysis, marketing and optimization purposes and helps us to improve our website through our marketing activities. The collected data is used by Adform to link advertising contacts and clicks on advertisements with a resulting use of our website. In this way, we can determine whether Internet users who have seen our advertisements visit our website and which products they are interested in. This helps us to use our advertising budget more efficiently. The data collected can also be used to deliver advertising based on your interests (e.g. products viewed). For data collection, pseudonymous online identification numbers (Online ID) such as Cookie IDs, IP address, Device IDs, Advertising ID / IDFA (e.g. on Android or Apple Smartphones) are used. No unique personal data such as name or address is stored. All IDs used by us only enable the recognition of your end device or your internet browser. The collected data will not be used to personally identify you as a user of our website without your separate consent. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1a and 1f DSGVO or § 15 para. 3 TMG. If you do not want Adform to collect your data, you can proceed as follows:
Under the following link you will find an explanation of how to deactivate data collection on your computer or mobile device: https://site.adform.com/privacy-policy-opt-out
Cameloon
We use the test and web analysis service Kameleoon of Kameleoon SAS, 12 rue de la Chaussée d'Antin 75009 Paris. The program allows an analysis of user behaviour based on user segmentation. We can thus evaluate how individual user segments visit the website and which landing pages are visited.
Cookies are used for the analyses, which are linked to a pseudonymised ID. Your IP address is completely anonymised and not stored. The information generated by the cookie about the use of our websites is transmitted to a Kameleoon server in Germany and stored there in aggregated and pseudonymised form. The IP address transmitted by your browser within Kameleoon will not be merged with other data from Kameleoon.
The use of Kameleoon serves to safeguard our predominant legitimate interests in the evaluation and optimised presentation of our online offers in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f DSGVO.
You have the opportunity to object to the collection and processing of data generated by the Kameleoon cookie and to prevent such collection and processing. To do so, you must click on the following link, which sets an opt-out cookie: #kameleoonOptout=true
Push notifications
If you activate push notifications for this website through the "Signalize" service, a function of your Internet browser will be used to provide the notifications for you. Only anonymous or pseudonymous data will be transmitted for sending messages. Depending on the configuration of the Website, this may be:
Pseudonymous user ID: a randomly generated value (example: 108bf9a85547edb1108bf9a85547edb1), which is stored in a tracking cookie ID
Pseudonymous digital fingerprints, pseudonymous mobile device IDs and, if applicable, pseudonymous cross-device identifiers
. This data is only processed to deliver the notifications you have subscribed to and to make notification-related settings. We ask for your consent to store this data. In this case, the legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can object to the receipt of notifications at any time via the settings of your browser. Information on how to unsubscribe to Web Push notifications for the respective browsers can be found here. You can unsubscribe on your mobile device directly in your device settings for the app or wallet card. In order to make the content of the push notifications meaningful to you, we use the preferences collected from a pseudonymous user profile by means of tracking pixels and merge your notification ID with the user profile of the website for the sole purpose of sending personalized messages. The tracking technology is also used for statistical evaluation of the notifications on our behalf. This allows us to determine whether a notification was delivered and, if so, whether it was clicked. The data generated in this way is processed and stored on our behalf by etracker GmbH exclusively in Germany and is therefore subject to the strict German and European data protection laws and standards. etracker has been independently tested and certified in this respect and is entitled to bear the ePrivacyseal data protection seal of approval.
The data processing for the statistical analysis of the notifications and in order to better adapt future notifications to the interests of the recipients is based on our justified interest in personalised direct advertising in accordance with article 6 paragraph 1 letter f DSGVO. As the privacy of our visitors is very important to us, data which may allow a reference to an individual person, such as the IP address, login or device IDs, are anonymised or pseudonymised as soon as possible. A direct personal reference is thereby excluded. The data will not be used for any other purpose or passed on to third parties.
You can object to the above-mentioned data processing at any time.
Pinterest Conversion Tracking
We use the conversion tracking technology of the social network Pinterest (Pinterest Europe Ltd., Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland). This allows users who are Pinterest members to receive advertisements and offers that are relevant to them on Pinterest if they have already visited our website. We have included a conversion tracking pixel from Pinterest to mark for Pinterest that you have visited our website and which parts of our offer you were interested in. You can opt out of the collection of data for the display of interest-based advertising on Pinterest at any time in your Pinterest account settings at https://www.pinterest.de/settings (where you can disable the "Use information from our partners to better tailor recommendations and ads on Pinterest to you" button under "Customization") or at https://help.pinterest.com/de/article/personalization-and-data#info-ad (where you can disable the checkbox under "Disable Customization"). The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para.1 lit. f DSGVO or § 15 para. 3 TMG.
Hotjar
This website uses Hotjar, an analysis software of Hotjar Ltd. ("Hotjar") (http://www.hotjar.com, 3 Lyons Range, 20 Bisazza Street, Sliema SLM 1640, Malta, Europe). 7. advertising via marketing networks
Google AdSense
Our website uses Google AdSense to market space for third-party ads and advertising networks. These ads are displayed to you in various places on this website. In the context of the integration of Google AdSense, the so-called DoubleClick cookie is set by Google for all page visitors.
This enables the display of interest-based advertising by automatically assigning a pseudonymous UserID, which is used to determine interests based on visits to this and other websites. The data collected in this context will be deleted after discontinuation of the purpose and end of the use of Google AdSense by us.
Google AdSense is an offer of Google LLC (www.google.de). Google LLC has its headquarters in the USA. For this country there is a
adequacy decision of the European Commission. This goes back to the EU US Privacy Shield, under which Google LLC is certified. A current certificate can be viewed here: https://www.privacyshield.gov/list
You can deactivate the DoubleClick cookie by following this link. You can also contact the Digital Advertising Alliance to find out how cookies are set and to adjust your settings.
The legal basis for data processing is § 15 para. 3 TMG or Art. 6 para. 1 letter f DSGVO.
Google Ads Remarketing
We use the remarketing feature within the Google Ads service. With the remarketing function, we can present users of our website on other websites within the Google advertising network (in Google search or on YouTube, so-called "Google ads" or on other websites) with ads based on their interests. For this purpose, the interaction of the users on our website is analysed, e.g. which offers the user was interested in, in order to be able to show the users targeted advertising on other pages after visiting our website. For this purpose, Google stores a number in the browsers of users who visit certain Google services or websites in the Google display network. This number, known as a "cookie," is used to track the visits of those users. This number is used to uniquely identify a web browser on a particular device, not to identify an individual, and no personal information is stored.
You can prevent participation in this tracking procedure in various ways:
a) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular by suppressing third-party cookies, so that you do not receive any third-party ads;
b) by installing the plug-in provided by Google under the following link:
;
c) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulation campaign "About Ads" via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted if you delete your cookies;
d) by permanently deactivating it in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin, https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin e) by means of an appropriate cookie setting. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent.
Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org.
Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
The legal basis here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a or lit. f DSGVO and § 15 para. 3 TMG.
Google Remarketing
We use the Google Remarketing application. This is a procedure with which we would like to address you again within 24 months. This application allows us to display our advertisements to you during your further internet use after you have visited our website. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, which are used by Google to record and evaluate your usage behaviour when visiting various websites. In this way Google can determine your previous visit to our website. A combination of the data collected within the scope of remarketing with your personal data, which may be stored by Google, does not take place by Google according to its own statements. In particular, according to Google, pseudonymisation is used in remarketing.
You can prevent participation in this tracking procedure in various ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly; in particular, the suppression of third-party cookies means that you will not receive any ads from third-party providers; b) by installing the plug-in provided by Google under the following link https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin; c) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulation campaign "About Ads" via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted if you delete your cookies; d) by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin, e) by means of an appropriate cookie setting. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent.
Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. Alternatively, you can visit the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at http://www.networkadvertising.org.
Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
The legal basis here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a or lit. f DSGVO and Art. 15 para. 3 TMG.
Google Ads Conversion
We use the offer of Google Ads Conversion to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising material (so-called Google Ads) on external websites. In relation to the data of the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. In this way, we pursue the interest in showing you advertisements that are of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.
These advertising materials are delivered by Google via so-called "Ad Servers". For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, which allow us to measure certain parameters to measure success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users. If you reach our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your end device. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be contacted) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.
These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an ad client's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not expired, Google and the client can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. A different cookie is associated with each ad client. As a result, cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of ad clients. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the advertising measures mentioned above. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. By means of these evaluations we can recognize which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material, in particular we cannot identify the users on the basis of this information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of Ads Conversion, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and save your IP address.
The legal basis here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a or lit. f DSGVO as well as § 15 para. 3 TMG.
Awin Affiliate Network (Affilinet)
We use the German affiliate network Awin. Affiliate marketing is an Internet-based form of distribution that enables commercial operators of Internet sites, so-called merchants or advertisers, to display advertising, which is usually paid for by click or sale commissions, on the Internet sites of third parties, i.e. distribution partners also known as affiliates or publishers. Via the affiliate network, the merchant provides an advertising medium, i.e. an advertising banner or other suitable means of Internet advertising, which is subsequently integrated by an affiliate on his own Internet pages or advertised via other channels, such as keyword advertising or e-mail marketing.
The operating company of Awin is Awin AG, Eichhornstraße 3, 10785 Berlin, Germany.
Awin sets a cookie on the information technology system of the person concerned. What cookies are has already been explained above. Awin's tracking cookie does not store any personal data. Only the identification number of the Affiliate, i.e. the partner referring the potential customer, as well as the order number of the visitor to a website and the advertising material clicked on are stored. The purpose of storing this data is to process commission payments between a merchant and the affiliate, which are processed via the affiliate network, i.e. Awin.
The person concerned can prevent the setting of cookies by our website, as already described above, at any time by means of a corresponding setting in the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent Awin from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the person concerned. In addition, cookies already set by Awin can be deleted at any time via an internet browser or other software programs.
Awin's current privacy policy can be found at https://www.awin.com/de/rechtliches/privacy-policy-DACHabgerufen.
The legal basis for the use of Awin is Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter a. or letter f. DSGVO as well as § 15 para. 3 TMG.
